Our Founding Story
SMRMaids was founded in 1998 by Mdm Nora from a small office on the 2nd floor of Golden Landmark. Initially, she single-handedly everything from inquiries to client handovers.
The business quickly took off, prompting the founder, Mdm Nora, to hire another employee.
The company's success was driven by its strategy of offering families flexible monthly instalment plans for MDW placement fees and providing free replacements for a year.
Twenty years later, SMRMaids has established deep roots, becoming one of the pioneers in the industry specializing in Muslim helpers in Singapore.
